Caribou club members participate in many different types of shooting activities.  Firearm shooting disciplines are organized competitive activities categorized by firearm type (rifle, pistol, shotgun, air gun) and style, ranging from precision, stationary, and bullseye shooting to dynamic, action-based, and practical shooting. Major formats include shotgun disciplines, long-range precision, metallic silhouette, and, increasingly, rapid-fire tactical sports like USPSA /  IPSC, SCSA and IDPA as well as Olympic events.
